These pages are dedicated to providing information about building boats with an emphasis on building kayaks. On these pages you will find reports by people who have built strip built kayaks from cedar strips, stitch and glue kayaks from plywood, and wood and canvas baidarkas. Since the easiest way to make a kayak is with wood, you will find that most of the home-built kayaks are wooden. There are links to other kayak buildingtechniques and sources of sea kayak plans and additional information. I have made an effort to have a high percentage of real content and not just links to lists of more links.
