There are a lot of good paddling PFDs out there, Chris, but the Lotus is one of the best made. It's tough, there are lots of options, and the prices aren't any worse than others. Take a good look at their "StraitJacket" --- one of the best for sea kayaking. www.lotusdesigns.com. No connection --- happy customer. Just did they HAVE to get bought out by Patagucci?
