agreed, mostly i find pockets are the best place to put snacks and trash. in one pocket I've got a mini air horn,mini flashlight and whistle all on a cord attached to the pfd. I have found that unless there is a clasp or zipper then you can't rely on things staying in the pocket. It's amazing what dissapears after tumbling in the surf.
