Bondo is a brand name and as such they have many different products. I think that you are refering to their polyester fillers in this statement. (Bondo was bought out by a company called Dynatron several years ago but the Bondo name is still used.) They also make a polyester fiberglass resin which is suitable for boat building. I have a few gallons of it in my garage, I fix canoes, kayaks, hot tubs, etc. with it.
