I've got a huge bandsaw that works great for me. The trick is having large infeed and outfeed table to support the plywood on, I use my 4 sawhorses and my kayak building table, everything is at the same height in my shop so one tool can also work as a table for another tool. Any place that is cut too wide I clean up with a good sharp block plane. I make it a point not to cut anything too narrow.
