I doing the same thing this winter. I got my wood milled.

No plans, you use instructions based on you body size. Sea Kayaker Magazine had a two part article and you can get reprints by calling them. It's a little confusing and disorganized but factual. I would highly recommend buying the Boucher video. It's 39.95 from:

He makes it easy and there's nothing like seeing the skin being put on rather than reading about it.

I'm using methology based on both the video and article.

Also. I've been researching synthetics and almost sure I'll go with Nylon 8 oz. it's Lighter, no rot and shrinkable. from Dyson Bairdarka 360-734-9226

I too am just learning about all this.
