Lee, I don't know. I picked the Merganser based on her lines and looks. I want a Greenland style boat, but want to stay out of the Pygmy vs CLC mess (parts of both boats I don't like). Out of all the boats or plans I've looked at, I like the Merganser best. -- Greg
