In addition to the suggestions already made, there are a couple of books by H.C. Petersen wich are published by the Danish National Museum which should help. The one I have is 'Instruction in Kayak Building', ('Instruktion i kayakbygning', or 'Qaanniorrnermut ilitsersuut') published in 1981. The other is 'Skinboats of Greenland', which I am ordering from the museum. The 'Building' book is written in Danish, Inuktitut and English and contains a lot of very good information. The Sea Kayaker article is pretty good and should give you the information you need. I would strongly suggest it as a complement to the Petersen book. Check their web site for reprint information. If there is a problem ordering it from them let me know and I can copy it for you. I can't give you details on the merits or faults of these as I have just carved my first Greenland paddle and bought the wood for my first boat yesterday.
The Boucher video is good as well, but would of course be in NTSC format (unless Bob has PAL/SECAM versions - check with him).
Also, you should visit the baidarka mailing list archives. There is a wealth of knowledge there on Greenland style boats as well as baidarkas.
