HI Ben
Well, the only way you could "possibly" cut that stuff will a power saw blade is if it were compacted down and immobilized. It's just too flexible for an open toothed blade to cut, and you would end up with a mess tangled in your blade. If you still insist on going the wide material and cutting it, and too save bucks, I would too, but, just find yourself a good sharp set of shears and mark the cloth and cut it to strips. Will take longer( than cleaning it out of your blade ?? ) but, what else are you doing with your spare time right now?? Oh, and by the way, if the mrs. objected to the oder, then I wouldn't recomend using those scissors you have your eye on right about now. You'll be living out in the garage for a while. Get a big cheap pair at the hardware store and I'm sure that will do the trick.
Hope that helps
