Re: Drysuit Experience

Posted by: Jerry K on November 28, 1999

When playing victim or swimming (unintentionally) down the rivers, I found that there was a little leakage, mostly dependent upon how much care I used when rolling the two inner layers together. If I am careful, it was not much water at all after spending 5-10 minutes in. With the underlayer of polypro, I did not get cold.

I really enjoy having the luxury of having the choice whether to wear the bibs or not. Some days are just too warm for having to have a full suit on. But again, this experience is based on inland water (Puget Sound) expeditions, and there is not nearly the dangers as you might see in other areas.

My $0.04. Jerry :)
