I'm sorry. I just have to jump in again.
You Canadians crack me up. I've been reading these posts and you'd think fiberglass tape was at such a premium up there that any measure possible to cut costs is justified.
Anyway, kudos to you for being frugal. Just don't let the time you spend cutting your tape get in the way of family time and I'm sure you'll do just fine.
