Hi Pete:

I live in Victoria on Vancouver Island, and could not get any redwood, I even tried phoning many stores in Vancouver on the mainland. I'm not crying the blues as we have lots of clear red cedar to work with, but it sure would be nice (artistically speaking) to have a variety of colours. Are you aware of any export restrictions on redwood as a reason why it is not to be found on the west coast of Canada?
