David, I paddled the Expedition at the Rendezvous along with most of the other strippers that are avaliable today. I found the Expedition to be the LEAST "tippy" of all I paddled. It has only a 21" beam but it's 19'long! For me it just felt very secure in initial stability. I paddle a Coho and your Tern is somewhat more "tippy" than the Coho. Hope this helps. BTW/ I'am currently building (trying to) a Expedition.
