Jim,

I am the same size as you and feel that a bigger person would be pushing it in a Guillemot. My size 12 feet fit fine w/o a paddling shoe, but I can't fit in it with them on. The boat paddles beautifully and responds to your body's every move. The stern is a little loose, but I've had no problem paddling it in the ocean after several hurricanes made their way up the Atlantic. It's a great boat.
