Re: Guillemot sizing

Posted by: Jack on December 1, 1999

Jim,

I built the Guillemot Expedition Single last winter. I am 6'3", 240lbs and size 12 feet. You might want to consider moving up to the expedition. The boat is plenty big for me with two exceptions

1. My heals need to be angled in a little to fit on the foot pegs. This position is not uncomfortable to me but my toes do touch the deck if I hold my feet vertical.

2. I made the cockpit slightly bigger than the plans called for. You will want to be able to be able to get legs in and out with your but in the seat.

Regards

Jack
