Thanks for your support, mick. It's hard to type while convulsing with laughter. I'll admit, from reading your previous posts, that #6 predominates. The Scotsman has reached too far in the pursuit of cheap. My opening caveat was purposed to shield me from the avalanch, but don't hold back, let me know how you feel!?! ;). Let me delight you further with the idea of covering my Walrus with the filter cloth used to protect the septic fields from silt accumulation, really tough material. Coated, of course, with SNOW COAT roof sealant to bring the concept to a higher plane. (leftover materials from two previous projects, and I gotta find a use for them) The finished boat, with appropriate hatch cover, will be ideally suited for use on polluted waters. (Woody, please note) Now, do you see resolution of #1, Design Conflict? Hmm, from here I just noticed that the large COSTCO pretzel jug has a great threaded lid, and I can retrieve a handful of stuff through the opening... ;) TNX, Scotty
