At the Newfound show, Edgar Kliendinst had and internal bungee hatch where the bungee cord ran through a hole in the bulkhead and you were able to tighen or loosen it from inside the cockpit with a notch and holding device. Maybe if he's reading, he could describe it or post a pic. It was clever.
