I saw a while ago a bad image of the internal bungies assembly. I noticed immediately how simple it is, but it looked to me that all the bungies would get in the way with all the equipment in the kayak - tent,sleeping bag,etc'. I checked the links in your responses & I realised that I'm wrong. the bungies assy does seem to me a more simple & efficient way of doing the job. & even if you all fooled me, I'll still be able to install the type of locks I wanted. so I vote for the bungies !
