Hi Dave,
Stimson Marine has two versions of skin on frame boats. I put the link here....hope it works. I have Putz' book and his designs are pretty straightforward in construction. The Brink book is for a baidarka type boat...the bifurcated (i'm sure i did not spell that right!) bow and stuff. The stimson site has plans available for building and might be a good choice. The boat looks pretty nice. Like Putz's boats, the two designs offered by stimson differ mostly in length and width. good luck, garland
