Hi Jay, I've had a Royobi table saw for over a year and am very happy with it. If you check the specs on the saw you'll see it has a higher Rpm than most saws. The other thing I like is the ability to use it as a router table as well. I set mine up for milling the wood for the boat this summer and was able to do both the cutting and milling of the cove & bead with just a little adjustment of the fence. I left the setup as is during construction and was able to quickly go back and forth from cutting and milling as needed. I used a Dewalt 7-1/2" thin curf 36 tooth blade and cut about 2200 liner feet of strips without a blade change. The saw come well recommended.
