Dean,

I used the Robert's multiple layer on my current project, 4 layers of 2 oz tight weave.

I had enough problem getting the glass to "lay flat" dry so didn't try to lay it wet. (Full length pieces for an 18.5 ft tripping canoe, outside easy inside hard.)

I filled 2 layers at a time, using a nylon brush to apply and work the epoxy in. I used System Three Clear Coat, it is less viscous than either MAS or Raka no blush. I tried filling 1 layer but couldn't put on little enough epoxy and the glass would lift. (This is after sealing the wood.)

I did get small voids where the glass didn't fill, less than 1/8", they were always square and I could only see them afer the epoxy cured. "Working" the epoxy into the glass reduced them.

It took about 4+ hours to wet a layer of glass, and I could only use/mix about 4.5 oz epoxt at a time.

Good luck Dan
