Re: epoxy vapor dangers?

Posted by: Mike Scarborough on December 13, 1999

If you want expert advise on the epoxy you are using, consult your epoxy manufacturer. They have more information about their products and more experience in their use than amature builders do. Not many people die from epoxy vapors each year. Hazards tend to be greater in among professional builders who suffer longer, repeated exposure.

Use reasonable care in avoiding skin contact with uncured epoxy. Unless you happend to be extremely sensitive, you should not have a problem with vapors. Work in a well ventilated area.
