Since you mentioned me ...

I now only epoxy outdoors.

I need to wear a respirator while classing a hull (not for small work) or my right eye swells closed. It takes about a day for the swelling to go away.

Put your nose in your epoxy hardener bottle. Breath in. IF you can smell the epoxy, you need protection. (The bottle has less than 1/2 sq ft of surface area your boat hull has 33 sq ft - epoxy fumes come off the hull about 66 times as fast until the epoxy cures.)
