not sure if there was a question there toby, as you experienced it is easy to lay a small piece of cloth onto wet wood. A large piece of cloth needs to be smoothed out a lot before the resin is applied. Trying to drape a few lbs of 6oz cloth onto wet wood would be hard to imagine. Once it was on you would have a mess to move around.
