I later bought the Sweet Dream book and it appears that the Swamp Yankee is a (nice way to say...) variatiom of the 12' Dream. It is very close (more rocker) and slight assembly differences. It handles fine but less rocker would be better. I used 1/8' red Meranti and 3.75 oz cloth. Its solid as a rock.If I had it to do over i would have built the 14' Dream. Working on Wee Lassie now, forms done, cant get up steam for ripping the red cedar.Good luck its lots of fun.
