Your idea sounds like it would work, but I'm just trying to figure out the advantages of doing it that way.

I was wondering what the advantages of a foam bulkhead are besides that it doesn't make a hard point on the hull?

Also, you'd have to make 2 sheets of woodstrip instead of one?

I just want to make sure I'm not missing something.
