It took me two strippers to finaly learn about heating the boat and workspace 3 hours before glassing. I really crank up the heat. Then backing off the temperature once I start. At least your bubbles are on the bottom. It's more visual than structural. Bubbles in a row sounds like compression of wood fibers or between strips from expanding wood. Wait untill you run across your first rock. The bubbles won't mean so much then. The other very important part is to really heat the epoxy so it's as thin as it will get without triggering a premature cure. And.. using small batches so it's always thin, not thickning in a large container. The thinner epoxy will allow air to escape much more easily and will wet out glass faster etc.
