SPAM, Spam, glorious spam. The substance in question is messages which are posted by people who have no interest in the subject of the bulletin board and are posting some sort of advertising for a scheme to get rich quick or a new miracle product. If you don't know what SPAM is, chances are you will not be posting any. Those people that do post the stuff are well aware of what they are doing and hope that people will fall for their scam. But I delete the messages as soon as I see them so not many others ever get the chance to read them.
