Have you tried sites like DATABOAT? I've not seen any plans for inflatables, but they might know. There are two or three different chat forums there (none are as responsive and informative as this one though!). Have you given any thought to a S&G design. A pram might fill your needs since they have good capacity for their size....1200# is a hefty load for a tender. B&B Yacht Design has a nine foot nesting pram dinghy that is a bit over 4.5' when nested, and will handle a 3 hp motor and a 45sq ft spritsail. theres a link below. good luck...hope this helps. garland
