Hi Shawn, The wood was very dark and very rough cut but, it did have shades of purple in it. If I had a digital camera I'd take a shot and show ya. I think I my try putting a piece on the scanner tonight to see if that will work. I'll send it to you if it does. It sure is cool looking stuff though. I can't wait to see it in the boat!
