It's my understanding that most of the epoxies are compatible with each other, so long as the first coat is fully cured, and there is no amine blush on it. In other words, a mechanical bond is fine but dont try to get a chemical bond. I have used one brand for structural and another for glassing with no problems ( S-3 and MAS).
