If you would like to try out my Arctic Tern, we could probably arange something. I forgot exactly where you live but I think it is close enough to Tacoma that we could meet somewhere for you to do some test paddling. Pygmy's can handle pretty big feet. They paddle better with bigger people, they are faily high volume.
The plywood Walrus that I'm building for my brother might fit you, he is the same height as you, it has no formal deck plan so you make it to fit yourself. This Walrus has less rocker than the skin version, so it should be a very strong tracker. It's not finished yet, I had about a month of 12-18 hour days, plus weekends at work. Something about Y2K, they think it is more important than me finishing a kayak. It should be done soon and you may be able to test it too.
