hi bruce I'm fairly ignorant about specific strip designs,but as far as looking goes I find most designs are for the "average" 175lb person plus stuff. So be sure to stick to your weight and not figure your weight plus stuff would be appropriate for the lower range of the typical boat. One of the great things about making a boat for a person of your weight is that boat is also much lighter and will get less wear. Me thinks part of George Roberts design for very light boats comes from the appropriate matching of the payload. fwiw-I'll try that as a word today-fwiw
