If you are looking for a strong tracking kayak in the 16' to 17' range, check out Redfish Kayaks. The Silver and the Spring Run are both in that range. Thet are strong tracking beautiful kayaks. I have been impressed with their performance, but have not paddled an Expedition Single to compare them to. I'm building the Spring Run for my wife, and may choose another Redfish for myself later, to replace my Tern or my Walrus.
