Re: skirts and Chesie 18

morning pete, snapdragon makes what you describe, if you want a very good seal between the coaming and skirt then neoprene seems to be the only way. The snapdragons with adjustable cord on the skirt unfortunately has it in a nylon sleeve so mine isn't that waterproof for rolling. they do make that model with a "extreme" rubber rand that is very tight to put on,so make very sure about the fit, they also will make custom skirts. for an easy mindless purchase the aquaterra all neoprene touring skirt works great,$85, the neoprene tunnel is adjustable but may be tight if you have a >50" waist. have fun fitting the boat out.
