Happy New Year, everyone.
Finally got the deck sanded on the West River hybrid. For my money, this is when it's the prettiest: The sanded wood has the subdued, soft color of the cedar, and the texture begs to have the hands run over it.
While the epoxy brings out, and highlights, the grain, as well as intensifying the color, to me this is just tarting up the lilly. Sometimes I wish I could just keep it this way.
