Be careful while glassing; Many kerosene space heaters throw off a lot of oily waste byproducts into the air and they could contaminate your surface and cause "fish-eyes".

If it vents outside, then it shouldn't be a problem It's probably also not going to be a problem for all of your structural epoxy joints; just more of a potential finish problem.
