After having UV rays do in the finish on my truck's fiberglass topper. I have been searching for the best way to protect my Mill Creek 13's clear coating. I understand that Vspar's Flagship varnish is about the best as a clear varnish with ultra high UV protection. But because the UV is relentless eventually you have to recoat with varnish. I saw and article in "Canoe & Kayak" that said one could use Armorall Protectorant (sold at auto supply stores) sprayed on and wiped off a couple of times a season to protect the finish. To my mind this sounds great. What do you folks think of this scheme????
