I ordered copies of back issues of the Sea Kayaker articles you're referring to. I think they cost $3 each, and there was a Part I in Winter '92 and Part II in Spring '93. Check out the Sea Kayaker website. The main reason for ordering, though, was to get the Fall '94 where Chris Cunningham also designed the boat in stitch-n-glue form. I got the skin-on-frame plans out of curiosity -- I haven't yet built one. That's all I know on the skin-on-frame subject...
