Sea Island Sport Voted "Best Sit-on-Top Kayaks" in Sea Kayaker Magazine's Reader's Choice Awards

I just got the latest copy of Sea Kayaker Magazine, and much to my surprise I found that my Sea Island Sport design for Chesapeake Light Craft, won the 2011 Reader's Choice Award.

I must say that I agree. I think the SIS is wonderful boat and it is hard to beat wood. This boat has a great shape, goes together easily and is efficient on the water.
