Dean Snow Foam Strip Mystery Foils "What do you think of the foils? The forward one works ok lifting the bow, but the aft foil a bit 'agricultural you might say' needs more work to lift."

Female Mold: "The strip foam method is a very quick method to build, approx 30 hours to paddling, about 3 hours to strip a half.

The strips are quite easy to make in 10 mm 80kg klegecell foam, (over kill for a kayak) & glassed inside first with 8oz then 6oz carbon in cockpit to stiffen. Joined verticaly then shaped to loose a bit of foam & produce a real fair boat."
