New Class

"Ganymede" is a new design intended to be a small, easy to handle recreational kayak, that is fun to paddle and easy to build. I will be teaching this class at IYRS in Newport, RI.

This little boat is suitable for full-size adults who want a small kayak or smaller women or children who want a boat that is the right size for them. It is not too wide for smaller paddlers to use comfortably. This also means it is not going to be super-stable boat, but it will have plenty of stability for most paddlers, while not being slow like many fatter recreational boats.

IYRS is located on the waterfront in downtown Newport and is a wonderful place to take a class.
