Finally, after more time than I'll mention, I finished the Gilly in time to launch on Currituck Sound in October 2008. I had a little problem with weathercocking, but during the winter months, I added a fixed skeg. Our weather hasn't been good enough to try it out yet, but maybe this week.

I saw that you launched in Currituck Sound. I live in Dare County and am building a Petrel now myself. This is my first one and am having alot of fun with it. Would like to talk with you and maybe see your Guillemot sometime.
