Last fall a 10 person camera crew spent all day here at my shop filming a segment for the A&E Network. I had wondered for a while what happened with all that effort. Recently someone on FaceBook messaged me saying he had seen something about me. Well, the above 30 second sequence is the result of 10 to 12 peoples working all day, plus how ever long it took them to prepare before and then edit afterwards.
Resolved: I've upgraded the Kayak Forum to a new system.
I am currently experiencing technical issues with the KayakForum.com Bulletin Board system.
Twenty years ago this week, on a whim, I thought it would be kind of cool to add kayak building discussion page to my website. Maybe somebody would find in interesting and I would find more people who were like me and wanted to talk about building kayaks. That little whim is still alive and thriving as KayakForum.com.
During my vacation a few weeks ago I took some time to get my first kayak out of the basement storage at my parents place in Maine and took it for a paddle. It was interesting to see that some of the things I still do, appeared on my first efforts.
